This renovation transforms a heritage Johannesburg house into a warm and functional studio space for Milarchi Studio – Interiors. Original timber windows and floors are preserved, pairing beautifully with light walls and a custom grid ceiling that integrates soft strip lighting for an even, welcoming glow.
The central fireplace anchors the open-plan layout, creating a cozy focal point for collaboration. Flexible work zones, window seating, and greenery encourage creativity while connecting the team to natural light and the surrounding landscape.
The result is a studio that reflects Milarchi’s design philosophy — a seamless blend of historic character and modern functionality.
