Delta Central is a community-based Nodal development in the gentrifying suburb of Blairgowrie. The centre’s proximity to the Braamfontien Spruit became the informer for many design choices for the project. We stripped the existing facade, layering in a new ‘clip-on’ facade that changed the aesthetic of the entire building.
The interior was re-planned to house fantastic new shops and eateries, giving the neighbourhood a modern new food hub. The exterior was designed with a deep veranda for casual dining with views of the spruit, activated further through the installation of bike racks, water fountains, tables and planting. We thoroughly enjoyed this project and the final execution.
